1. Run the setup from the installer and run Enterprise One 8.12 base componenets ; Select the MSDE when finishing the wizard.
2. Run the Enterprise One 8.12 data components
3. Install JDK 1.4.2 JDK w/ JRE and install into JDE directory Eg, C:\812\system\JDK
4. Copy the three .jar in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC\lib\ to the newly created C:\E812\system\OC4J\j2ee\home\applib\ folder. The three files are: msbase.jar, mssqlserver.jar, and msutil.jar.
5. Copy jdbj.ini from the disc to c:\E812\system\OC4J\j2ee\home\applications\webclient.ear\webclient\WEB-INF\classes\.
6.Login as demo : demo .Then it will ask for authentification code. Take down the serial number.
7. Run the SPCSelfService.exe (Software Protection Code) .Insert the serial number and click ok to generate the SPC code for license use.
Tip: You may use this SPC generator to generate authorization code for server-client license as well as standalone client.
Hope that help...
