Organic Food In Malaysia

   In this article, let's talk about organic food industrial in Malaysia.  One of the objectives of running organic farm and organic plantation is to protect our next generation and protect our earth. Eat green and Live green , a motto given by BMS organics brand in Malaysia. In fact, organic food industrial in Malaysia is not huge. According to wikipedia, organic farming is another agricultural system which is started in the early of 20th century. It has covered more than 70 millions hectares worldwide which is equivalent to half a size of Australia.

   

    So, what is organic food ?  It is a kind of food that is compliance to a standard of organic farming. It practice recycle resources and promote ecological balance.  Starting from its seeds, it does not apply any chemical materials like fertilizer, pesticides and herbicide.  And more importantly, it can not have artificial perservative, coloring, and flavoring. It should be GMO free.  In fact, when it is cooked, it would taste more nicer than those non-organic foods. 

    Companies like BMS organics, ZenXin organic, Love earth, Healthy Organic Fruit (m), Medifoods Lifestyle Cafe, Justlife and etc.. are doing great and promoting organic food industrial.

    In malaysia, there are more than 30 millions population. In general, organic products are consumed by all races in Malaysia that include the Malays, Chinese and Indians. The Chinese community however, purchased and consumed more frequently than the Malays and the Indians.

A statement from organic agriculture in malaysia, the demand for organic products in Malaysia is projected to grow more than 12.4% a year with the financial value of more than RM20 million a year.
Meaning to say, organic food had good value in the market. Awareness of taking organic food have been well known by most Malaysian.
