How to login to deployment server other than JDE

Hi, some of you might be wondering how to do that ..
Below are the steps :

Usually only JDE userid is used for the DEPXXX and JDEPLAN environment. If you need to use other userid to logon, try enabling or disabling security server on the deployment server and create that new userid "ZILAH" for DEP900 and JDEPLAN environment in P0092 and F98OWSEC.

* jdeplan always refer to local db F0092
* depXXX always refer to central db Eg, Sy900.F0092

how to turn off security server on deployment server ?

[SECURITY]
SecurityServer=ent.server

; edit jde.ini as above by blanking out the name
; it's optional whether this is turn on or off..

1) Login as JDE to JDEPLAN on the deployment server and verify that ZILAH exist on P0092.
2) Login as JDE to JDEPLAN on the deployment server and verify that ZILAH has the SYSADMIN role (so it has access to all environments) - P95921.

Note: steps (1) and (2) are related to the local database tables.

3) Login as JDE to DEP900 on the deployment server and verify that ZILAH exist on P0092 (this time you are looking at the SY900.F0092).
4) Login as JDE to DEP900 on the deployment server and verify that ZILAH has the SYSADMIN role (so it has access to all environments) - P95921.

Note: steps (3) and (4) are related to the central database tables.

5) Verify that ZILAH is a database user on the central database, it has the JDE_ROLE (or something equivalent to the DB user JDE) and you know its password.

With these settings you should be able to login to the DEP900 environment as ZILAH using its database password (be sure to use the correct case on the password).

Hope that helps...
