How to remove a mandatory package from Fat client after update package is deployed?

How To Remove a Mandatory Package

Customer needs to remove mandatory package for an environment. Which table should customer remove it from ?

Answer:  To take off the mandatory requirement for a package, go to Package Deployment application P9631,

sort by Machine Name, find the machine you want to change the requirement on and highlight the package.

Then select Properties in the Row Exit and you can uncheck "Mandatory".

To delete the actual deployment record follow the same steps as above ,

highlight the package and then select the garbage can on the tool bar to delete the deployment record

for that machine.

To delete a package that has been built, go to P9621, find the package, highlight it and use

the garbage can to delete it.

Then go to P9601 (Package Assembly) and do the same thing.

This will delete the package_inf as well and the records from the F96215, F9622, F96225.
