Turn off any antivirus program. Then run the InstallManager.exe. Install the Database engine.
Name : JDE_Local_DB_Home (Whatsoever deemed fit)
Path : c:\JDEdwards (Require reboot) .
Before reboot, Tnsnames.ora should be copied into below directory.
C:\JDEdwards\E1Local\NETWORK\ADMIN\tnsnames.ora
Then install E1 client.
Ora_home
C:\JDEdwards
Components Will be installed :
Database Engine, Installer SDK, JRE,Oracle One-off patcher, Oracle Uninstaller
E1 installation :Development , Production and Custom.
Just pick "development" for most of the components required
Check this C:\OEEInstall.log to see if the database is installed.
Just in case your machine has 2 different Oracle databases, you need to update tnsnames.ora for connectivity.
Upon successfuly installation, the folder would occupy about 20gb size.
