Steps of Installing JDE Enterprise One Demo - Oracle db

Starting from version E1 8.9 onward, JDE E1 no longer require gen-key. It's been streamlined for faster installation using Oracle Universal Installer OUI. You may get it from Oracle edelivery or TORRENT it...

Turn off any antivirus program. Then run the InstallManager.exe. Install the Database engine.

Name : JDE_Local_DB_Home (Whatsoever deemed fit)
Path : c:\JDEdwards (Require reboot) .

Before reboot, Tnsnames.ora  should be copied into below directory.
C:\JDEdwards\E1Local\NETWORK\ADMIN\tnsnames.ora

Then  install  E1 client.
Ora_home
C:\JDEdwards

Components Will be installed :
Database Engine, Installer SDK, JRE,Oracle One-off patcher, Oracle Uninstaller

E1 installation :Development , Production and Custom.
Just pick "development" for most of the components required

Check this C:\OEEInstall.log to see if the database is installed.
Just in case your machine has 2 different Oracle databases, you need to update tnsnames.ora for connectivity.

Upon successfuly installation, the folder would occupy about 20gb size.

Error might happen if above requirement failed. Check out C:\Program Files\Oracle\Inventory\logs
