For your info. this model of Acer has been hot in selling for the last year end but many of them came back to HSN for repair due to thermal issue...Yes, the thermal module is heating up very fast when time goes by most properly less than a year. Ok. Let try this DIY to lower the termperature.
Scenario: Windows will shutdown if temperature exceeded the limit :
CPU >70'celcious , Built-in 3D > 65'c , HDD > 55'c
Standard : CPU <> 50'c, 3D <> 55' ,HDD <>45'
Steps of reworking the thermal module:
1.Disassemble the thermal module and clean the dust. Use some WD40 cleaner to clean the dirty place.
2. Make sure the thermal pad on the chipsets are in good condition If not, replace it.

4.The gap between the chipset (CPU,3D) and thermal body must in contact tightly. If not, replace the entire thermal module .See photo..
Note 2: Acer Thermal Fan will only spin if OS is running some application like Movie, Game, or some heavy processing . If not, the fan spining is IDLE mode

note 1: Model 4736z lower CPU speed w/o 3D chipset , 4736g higher CPU speed w/ 3D integrated
